Business information: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, business address, market, category, description, links, photos, and videos you upload.

Renter information: name, email address, optional phone number, inquiry messages, saved businesses, and reviews you submit.

Payment information: we do not store full card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment processor, which provides us with limited billing details such as plan, status, and billing dates.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, device data, pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

5. How We Use Information

To create and operate accounts and listings; to deliver inquiries to the relevant business; to process subscription payments; to provide analytics and reports to Featured vendors; to send transactional emails such as receipts, welcome messages, and inquiry notifications; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to improve the platform.

6. Inquiries and Renter Data

When a renter submits an inquiry, the renter's name, email address, optional phone number, and message are shared with the business they contacted. Businesses must use that information only to respond to the inquiry and in compliance with applicable marketing and anti-spam laws.

7. How We Share Your Information

We share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing, and AI matching providers. We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Platform Operator Access: As the operator of The Renter Network, Murge Media Group LLC has access to all data submitted through the platform, including vendor profile information, inquiry data, and renter contact information submitted through the Contact Business form. This access is used solely for platform operation, fraud prevention, compliance monitoring, and service improvement. We do not use individual inquiry data for marketing purposes without explicit user consent. The Renter Network maintains internal compliance records including data deletion requests, security incident logs, and admin activity logs for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations and demonstrating compliance with applicable privacy laws. These records are retained for a minimum of 3 years and are accessible only to platform administrators.

Vendor Data Notice: Vendors should be aware that inquiry data submitted through the Contact Business form, including renter name, email, phone number, and message, is stored by Murge Media Group LLC in addition to being delivered to the vendor. This data is used for platform analytics, fraud prevention, and improving the platform experience.

Renter Data Notice: When renters submit the Contact Business form, their contact information is shared with the vendor they are contacting and is also stored by Murge Media Group LLC as the platform operator to facilitate the inquiry, monitor platform activity, and improve platform performance. By submitting the Contact Business form, renters consent to this data storage as described in this policy.

9. Data Retention

Vendor profile data is retained for 30 days after subscription cancellation, then permanently deleted upon request.

Inquiry data, including renter contact information submitted through Contact Business forms, is retained for 12 months, then permanently deleted.

Renter account data is retained until the renter requests deletion.

Anonymous aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely, as it contains no personally identifiable information.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and row-level database security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, Murge Media Group LLC will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach as required by applicable law. Notification will be sent to your registered email address and will include a description of the breach, the data affected, and steps being taken to address it.

12. International Data Transfers

The Renter Network serves users in multiple countries, including the United States and Israel. By using the platform you consent to your data being processed and stored in the United States, where our servers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable law.
